I am a supporter of the Scottish Claymores
who play in the NFL EUROPE LEAGUE(formerly known as The World League of American Football) and who won the World Bowl in 1996 beating the Frankfurt Galaxy and narrowly lost in the 2000 final to Rhein Fire.

The season starts in April and runs until June culminating in the World Bowl, during the off-season I watch the regular season of the American games,
my favourite team are the Seattle Seahawks, who unfortunately are not on Sky Sports very often, some of the players who were in the team like QB Dave Krieg, WR Steve Largent
and Brian Bosworth are players who initally sparked my interest in the team.

who took over from Jim Criner,
who led us to victory in 1996, Gene took us to the World Bowl once more in 2000 at World Bowl VIII at the Waldstadion, in Frankfurt, Germany but unfortunately the Claymores lost out to Rhein Fire.
2003 Claymores management announce sacking of head coach Gene Dahlquist and defensive coach Ray Woodard. Barcelona Dragons also ceased as a franchise due to poor attendance figures.
Jack Bicknell becomes new Claymores head coach and Cologne (Germany) gains a new team, the Cologne Centurions.
Peter Vaas becomes their new coach moving from Berlin
